AutoMotoKeeper
AutoMotoKeeper is a web app/PWA designed to manage cars, motorcycles, scooters, and other personal vehicles in a simple and structured way. The app centralizes technical data, mileage, maintenance, refuels, expenses, deadlines, documents, notifications, and statistics into a single experience, transforming garage management into a more organized and controllable flow. The project was born to solve a concrete problem: to avoid losing important information about one's vehicles and to remember in time activities such as inspections, road tax, insurance, services, periodic maintenance, and document renewals. Each vehicle can be managed with technical data, operational information, related activities, and a history of interventions. The dashboard offers an immediate overview of the garage's status, with KPIs, deadline alerts, vehicles to keep an eye on, monthly costs, consumption, and recent activities. The user can quickly identify what needs attention, how much they are spending, and which vehicles have imminent events or deadlines. AutoMotoKeeper allows recording maintenance, refuels, and expenses, thereby building a history useful for analyzing costs, mileage, and consumption. Statistics help to understand trends over time and to better grasp the economic and operational impact of each vehicle. An important part of the project is document management. Documents can be linked to vehicles and archived in an orderly manner, with support for data extraction via a dedicated function. This allows keeping information, files, and deadlines together, reducing the risk of scattered or outdated documents. The app includes notifications and reminders for deadlines and maintenance, thus supporting the user in proactive vehicle management. There is also the concept of a favorite vehicle, useful for focusing the dashboard, main lists, statistics, and new entries on a specific vehicle without losing sight of the complete garage overview. The interface is designed with a mobile-first and PWA approach, with navigation optimized for smartphones, iOS safe area, quick actions, and a responsive layout. On desktop, navigation highlights the main operational sections, while on mobile, the bottom bar emphasizes deadlines and provides quick access to the most used functions. AutoMotoKeeper also integrates API for external applications based on clientId and a revocable personal token, designed to read vehicle data in a controlled manner. The project represents a concrete solution for digitizing the daily management of vehicles, combining UX, data, notifications, documents, statistics, and a mobile-first architecture.
